Photo Comedian: Mixing Comedy and Photography since 1870
But what I do do (yup, do do) is take great photos. And I love to make people laugh. So I figured why not mix the two: photography and comedy. And so Photo Comedian was conceived. On January 15, 2012, 8 pound, 6 ounce baby Photo Comedian was born. Marvin Halelamien, a registered Photo Comedian based in Los Angeles, is available for photo shoots and welcomes ideas and comments. Caine’s Arcade on KTLA Photo Comedian visited the world’s only cardboard arcade Sunday morning. 9-year-old Caine Monroy built an elaborate cardboard arcade inside his dad’s used auto parts store and the video went viral a few weeks ago. So far it has raised almost $200,000 for Caine’s Arcade Foundation, which will help find, foster, and fund creativity and entrepreneurship in young kids. I purchased the Fun Pass ($2 for 500 arcade plays, the best deal in LA). I played the crane machine and won a musical cow that sounds like a dying electric shaver. It is kind of ingenious how he uses simple tools like string, hooks, and cardboard to make arcade games. KTLA interviewed Caine live and I saw my feet in the right corner of the screen at 1:13. Soon after I left, Jack Black and his kids dropped by and dominated the crane machine game. I should have stayed longer. Well, I still have 498 turns left on my Fun Pass, so maybe I’ll see a celebrity next time. |
