Did you know that September is National Potato Month? Did you know that September is also National Rice Month? Neither did I. It’s kind of ridiculous how many official food holidays there are.

Yolo Street in Los Angeles County claims the title as the Most Dangerous Street in America mainly because of foolhardy teens living by the mantra YOLO (You Only Live Once). 

YOLO was made famous by rap artist Drake who uses it regularly during performances. It has since been used by people often in a sarcastic or humorous manner on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social media networks. 

I wonder if #YOLO will be on Drake’s tombstone.

K.D. or Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder is one of the premiere NBA Superstars and is currently competing for his first Championship.

Awake features an LA detective who survives a car accident and wakes up in a world where nothing is certain.

In one world his son died. In the other his wife died. So whenever he closes his eyes in one world he enters the other. It was a really interesting concept with lots of story possibilities and interpretations. My interpretation was this dude must have been really sleepy.

It’s a shame it ended so soon. Hopefully now he’ll be able to get some sleep.

As if having a finalist named Phillip Phillips wasn’t enough, I mean who names their kid that?

I’m watching American Idol tonight since my Mom called yesterday urging me to vote 10 times online, 10 times on the phone, and to tell all my friends to do the same. So along with thousands of other Filipinos I casted my vote for Jessica Sanchez.
